If you have a problem with the Kobo app, try closing, then re-opening the app.
To close the Kobo app, from your Home screen:

Quickly press the Home button twice.

Swipe right to left on the multitasking bar and look for the
Kobo icon.

Press and hold the
Kobo icon until it wiggles.

Tap the
close icon.
To open the Kobo app, from your Home screen:

Tap the
Kobo icon.
If your Kobo app isn’t working properly, you can try signing out of the Kobo app. Signing out of your Kobo app can reset app settings which can improve performance if you’re having trouble. If you sign out of the app, your books, annotations, and highlights will be saved; however, you’ll lose any bookmarks that you’ve made.
Signing out of the Kobo app on your iPad:
To sign out of the Kobo app, from the Kobo app Home screen:

Tap the
Menu icon at the top of the screen.

Tap Settings.

Tap Sign Out.
A dialog box will appear.

Tap OK.
Signing out of the Kobo app on your iPhone or iPod touch:
To sign out of the Kobo app, from the Kobo app Home screen:

Tap the Settings icon at the top of the screen.

Tap Sign Out.
A dialog box will appear.

Tap OK.
Once you’re signed out, you can sign back in using your Kobo account credentials.
If your Kobo App isn’t working properly, you can try clearing the local cache. The local cache stores information about your app usage so that the app can run faster. You may have to clear your local cache to troubleshoot your Kobo app.
To clear the local cache on your Apple iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad, from the Home screen:

Tap Settings.

Scroll down and tap Kobo.

Tap the button beside Clear Local Data.
The button should switch from “Off” to “On”.

Press the Home button.
After you’ve cleared the local cache, you’ll need to remove the app and reinstall it.
If signing out of the Kobo app and clearing the cache didn’t improve its performance, you can reinstall the Kobo app. Reinstalling the Kobo app will remove bookmarks you’ve made throughout your books. Your books are automatically saved to the Kobo Cloud, so you won’t lose your books.
The Kobo Cloud is a safe and secure online storage area for your purchased content from Kobo. When you sign back in using your account, your Kobo books will be downloaded automatically onto your Apple device.
To reinstall the Kobo app, from your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad Home screen:

Uninstall the Kobo app from your iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad:

Tap and hold the Kobo app icon until it wiggles.

Tap the X icon.
-
Tap Delete.

Download the Kobo app from the App store:

Tap App Store.
-
Search for Kobo.
-
Tap the Kobo icon.
-
Tap Install.
-
Follow the onscreen instructions to install the Kobo app.
Note: You’ll need your Apple ID user name and password before you can install apps from the App Store.
