Restoring deleted books

If you deleted a book from your Kobo app or eReader by mistake, you can easily restore books you bought from the Kobo Bookstore.  If you’ve deleted a free book you found in the Kobo Bookstore, you have to search for it again and add it back to your Library.

To restore a book you bought from the Kobo Bookstore:

1. Visit www.kobo.com on your web browser.
2. Click Sign In.
3. Enter your Kobo account user name and password to sign into your account.
4. Click My Library.
5. Click Purchased.
6. Click the checkbox beside the book that you’ve deleted from your Kobo eReader or Kobo app.
7. Click Bookmark.
8. Click Yes to bookmark the page on the book.
9. Sync your eReader or refresh your Kobo app.
10. Tap a book cover to download it to your eReader.
    
    Note: You’ll need to download the book onto your eReader before you can read it.

To restore a free book on your computer:

1. Visit the Kobo Bookstore at www.kobo.com.
2. Sign in to your Kobo account.
3. Download a new copy of the book from the Kobo Bookstore.
4. Sync your eReader using Kobo Desktop or over Wi Fi.
