Creating a Kobo account

You need a Kobo account to buy books from the Kobo Store. It only takes a minute to set one up.

To create your Kobo account:

1. Go to the Kobo website.
2. Click Register.
3. Fill in the registration form.
4. Create a new password for this account.
   • Do not use your email password.
5. Review your information.
6. Click Continue.
7. Registration is finished.
   • Note:
   • Your Kobo account username will be your email address and your password will be what you provided in this registration process.

   • You can go to the Kobo store by clicking Start Shopping.
8. When you first sign in to your account you will be asked to complete your account details.
9. You'll also see a shaded box with a string of letters and/or numbers - type the text in the empty box below it.
   • This shows Kobo that you are a real person and not a malicious software program trying to collect accounts for spammers.
10. Click OK to finish personalizing your account.

Note: If you have a Kobo Vox, you will create a Kobo account during the setup process.
