Turning your Kobo Arc off and on and putting it to sleep and waking it up again
You can turn your Kobo Arc off or put it to sleep when you’re not using it. Both help your battery last longer. The main difference is that when you put your Kobo Arc to sleep and then wake it up, you go directly back to the last screen you saw. This could be a page in a book, your Home Tapestry, or one of your apps. If you turn your Kobo Arc off, you’ll go back to your Home Tapestry when you turn it on again.
Another difference between putting your Kobo Arc to sleep and turning it off is the time it takes to come back on again. When you wake up your Kobo Arc after putting it to sleep, it’s ready to use a few seconds later; when you turn on your Kobo Arc after turning it off, you’ll wait up to 25 seconds before you can use it.
